I just wanted to post this article from the Guardian that gives the final weekend numbers for the film! If you're interested in these kind of things like myself, you might want to give it a read:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmb...-uk-box-office

Quote:
Three other wide releases failed to achieve a screen average above £1,000. Most successful – or rather least unsuccessful – of the trio is hitman comedy Wild Target, a remake of the 1993 French film of the same name. Despite attractive elements including cast members Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint, Rupert Everett and Martin Freeman, the film has so far failed to resonate with audiences, and debuted with a weak £282,000 from 388 screens. The picture missed out on many reviews due to a screening policy that omitted the special week-of-release press shows favoured by national newspaper critics.
All the reactions I've read from regular moviegoers seem to really enjoy the film, so I don't know what the Guardian is going on about when it says it "failed to resonate with audiences."

It sounds like it's a really slow week at the movies all around, though, especially compared to the same time last year with Transformers 3 or whatever number they're at.

But with a few exceptions it seems to be the general consensus of audiences that the movie is very entertaining and that they enjoy it. Hopefully good word of mouth sustains it and adds decently to it's take.
